Inland Manufacturing dropped a fresh can at SHOT Show 2025, and this one’s a far cry from their old plastic job.
The new AM-22 suppressor marks Inland’s return to the rimfire market with a design that feels a lot more serious. Gone is the polymer of the PM-22. In its place? A hard-anodized aluminum body, stainless steel base, and construction built to last longer than your ammo stash.
At 4.6 ounces, the AM-22 still keeps things light, but this time around, it’s tough enough to handle more than just .22LR. It’s rated up to 5.7x28mm—so long as you’re under 49,000 psi—and keeps the same monocore design that made the original so simple to maintain.

Inland’s original PM-22, released in 2017, had a lightweight charm thanks to its polymer build and bargain price tag. But as many shooters quickly learned, polymer doesn’t exactly scream “long-term use.” The AM-22 corrects that course—adding some ounces, sure, but bringing real staying power with it.
There’s no mention of using this one “wet,” like the PM-22 could be with a splash of dBFoam. And really, it doesn’t need the gimmicks.
The AM-22 is built for practicality: minimal weight, minimal footprint, and a level of durability that should make it a go-to for anyone running rimfire rigs or dipping into the spicy world of 5.7.
Now, here’s the kicker: with Inland part of the MKS Supply family, I’m hoping this could hint at a future .22LR Hi-Point pistol.
Word at the booth was that one’s been on the drawing board for a while, sidelined by concerns over rimfire ammo quality, but might finally be getting its shot. No promises, but it’s interesting to see the pieces lining up.
For now, the AM-22 stands tall on its own as one of the sleekest, lightest suppressors in its class, and a big step forward for Inland’s suppressor lineup.
