Introducing the Browning Maxus II Hunter, a semi-automatic shotgun that's all gas and no brake. This exceptional firearm is built on the proven Power Drive Gas system, offering industry-leading reliability across the ammunition spectrum. The Lightning Trigger, with the fastest lock time of any auto-loading shotgun, and reduced felt recoil, ensures a smooth, quick shot every time.
The Maxus II Hunter features a 28" matte blued barrel and a chrome-plated chamber and bore. It has a 3" chamber that accepts both 3" and 2-3/4" shotshells, and a 4-round capacity for 2-3/4" shells. The aluminum alloy receiver is finished in matte black anodized, and the shotgun is equipped with a fiber optic front sight and an ivory mid bead.
The Maxus II Hunter is not just about performance, it's also about style and comfort. It boasts Grade I Turkish Walnut furniture with a satin finish and close radius pistol grip. The shotgun is shim-adjustable for length of pull, cast, and drop. It also features new receiver styling, an oversize bolt handle and bolt release, a new trigger guard, and a new screw-on magazine cap.
The Maxus II Hunter is finished with a nickel Teflon coating on the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, bolt release, and bolt handle. It's lightweight, weighing in at 7 lbs 1 oz, and has an overall length of 49-3/8". It's also Invector-Plus choke compatible and comes with three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder).
