Introducing the Browning Maxus II, a shotgun that's all business and all Browning. This sleek, lightweight firearm is designed for both clay shooting and waterfowl hunting, providing you with a versatile tool for all your shooting needs. With a 12 GA 26" barrel and a 3" chamber, the Maxus II is built to handle anything you throw at it.
The Maxus II is not just about power, but also comfort and ease of use. Its Power Drive gas system retains gas pressure for light loads and bleeds off excess pressure in heavy loads, allowing for the use of a variety of shotgun ammunition from 2-3/4" to 3" shells. This means reduced recoil, faster follow-up shots, and increased comfort during a long day of shooting.
The Lightning trigger is smooth with minimal over travel and a faster reset. The ramped trigger guard guides shells into the loading port for faster reloads, while the enhanced charging handle and bolt release ensure smoother operation.
The Maxus II also boasts an Inflex 2 recoil pad and Softflex cheekpad to further reduce perceived recoil and provide additional comfort while shooting. The Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat Camo stock makes it perfect for waterfowl hunting, while the chrome-lined barrel and brushed nickel Teflon finished bolt and bolt slide are designed to resist harsh and wet bird hunting conditions.
The Maxus II comes with three Invector-Plus chokes in full, modified, and improved cylinder, allowing you to match your shot pattern to the hunting conditions. With a 4+1 round capacity, this semi-automatic shotgun proudly upholds the Browning tradition of reliability and functionality.
