Its back-bored barrel, flush-mount Invector-Plus choke, new Soft Flex cheek piece, and 1-1/2" thick Inflex 2 recoil pad all work together to reduce perceived recoil and muzzle jump. The Inflex 2 recoil pad uses directional deflection to send the comb down and away from the face, increasing shooting comfort, especially with 3-1/2" magnum loads.

The stock of the Maxus II Stalker can be trimmed up to 3/4" to fit shooters who prefer a shorter stock. For maximum control in any weather condition, a rubber overmolding is applied to the stock and forend. The bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, bolt release, and bolt handle all have a durable Nickel Teflon coating for added protection and lubricity.
