This rifle is an upgrade from the short-barreled Sporter, providing a bit more velocity from its longer barrel. It's available in a variety of chamberings, including 6.5x55, .270, .30-06, 7x64, .243, .308 and .25-06.
The CZ 557 American is designed with a classic American pattern stock, a sporter-weight hammer forged barrel, a single set trigger, and a recessed target crown. These features ensure a high-quality shooting experience with every use.
Made without sights, the top of the CZ 557 American's receiver is machined with a 19mm dovetail for mounting optics. This makes it an excellent platform for rebarreling into a high-performance, long-range fullbore target rifle.
